She helped start a nursery school in a black neighborhood and became director of the first Headstart Program in New York State. She later directed a therapeutic nursery school in a New York City orphanage, taught at Bank Street Graduate School of Education, wrote How the Heather Looks, a book about British children's literature, and became a book reviewer for the New York Times. In 1968-69 she was invited to become Director of Children's Services, State Library of Missouri, only to be fired before a year was up - as a Communist pornographer. In November 1910 the Morgan Motor Company had been formed by H.F.S.Morgan and started producing three wheeled cars, although most new auto manufactures were producing small four wheeled cars by then. Partly because in 1910 the UK introduced the Road Tax Fund and the three wheelers had the tax advantage. But it was the design of Morgan's cars that really conquered most of its rivals. It was light weight, had a rigid frame, independent front suspension, and a power to weight ratio of 90 brake horsepower per ton that enabled this little vehicle to accelerate as fast as any car being produced at that time. On December 26th 1910, Morgan entered the London to Exeter and back Reliability Trial and as a result, won a gold medal and favorable press coverage. This was the first of thousands of awards and races the Morgan was to win. These successes took Morgan's sales to their highest point by the time the World War I broke out in 082483

Comment se sont-ils retrouvés en Allemagne ? Pourquoi les Allemands ont-ils emmené ces hommes dans leur retraite vers l'est ? Telles sont les premières questions que pose ce transfert. Si Pétain et Laval considérèrent qu'ils furent «enlevés» et emmenés de force, les autres protagonistes firent le voyage de leur plein gré.
